The Kyoto Arashiyama Orgel Museum

Posted on 29 February 2012

Travel date: 29 October 2010
Location: Saga-Arashiyama area, Kyoto

“Incorporating with Guido Reuge Museum, The Kyoto Arashiyama Orgel Museum houses an impressive collection of antique automata and music boxes collected by Guido Reuge”. Am not a big fan of music box plus it charges some entrance fee so I gave the museum a miss, only visited the shop that day. There’s still some pretty cute music boxes to see in the shop though! And a cafe as well.

How To Get There

  • Take JR train from Kyoto station to Saga-Arashiyama station (嵯峨嵐山駅)
  • It’s somewhere near the Saga-Arashiyama station (5min walk from the station according to the website)
