Uji green tea flavoured ice cream from the popular Saryo Tsujiri (Kodaiji branch) – in Japanese, 茶寮都路里 (高台寺店). If I remember correctly it was 300Y per serving, the best energy booster after you’re getting tired from all those walking in Kyoto.
I tried sencha (煎茶) flavour as well from the same shop when I was in Tokyo last year and personally I prefer the sencha one with slight roasted taste.
