Saga town, Kyoto: fumikiri, lady, and dog

Lady and Dog

Travel date: 29 October 2010
Location: Saga-Arashiyama area, Kyoto

The Story

Was wandering around Saga (嵯峨) town when visiting Arashiyama (嵐山) in Kyoto and I bumped into a very small fumikiri (railway crossing). Excited, as we don’t see it often (nearly none) over here in Malaysia or Singapore. While admiring this little fumikiri on my own sweet time, a middle-aged lady and possibly her dog quickly passed me by.

Most of the time I wasn’t sure where was I heading, just randomly pick a path and walk around while at the same time trying not to stray too far. Dilemma, eh. Anyway, it was a lovely stroll around the residential area and I managed to get some cute postcards from the little post office there as well. :)
